BW Defend was founded in 2003 by a team of ex-military engineers who recognized a critical gap in the market: industrial surveillance systems were not engineered for the extreme conditions of hazardous environments. Explosion-proofing was an afterthought, not a design principle.
Today, we deploy mission-critical camera systems across oil rigs, petrochemical plants, and marine vessels in over 50 countries. Every product is designed, tested, and certified from the ground up for ATEX-classified zones — because compromising on safety is not an option.
